Antarctica

Antarctica, the coldest and driest place on Earth, surrounds the South Pole.  It's the coldest and windiest place on the planet.  It's a desert with no trees, no bushes, and no permanent residents.  The continent is nearly twice the size of Australia and is mostly covered by a thick sheet of ice.  During summer (from November to February), the sun never sets-known as the Midnight Sun and in winter the Polar Nights mean no sunrise for several months. You can spot penguins from late December and early January and February and March offer peak whale watching. Activities include snowshoeing, kayaking, skiing, camping, and diving during the season.  Antarctica has no mobile service or bustling towns; it's a place to truly disconnect and marvel at nature's grandeur. Pack your warm gear and embark on an unforgettable adventure to the frozen continent!
